Senior Accounting Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of the finance function, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all financial tasks.

About the Role
  • Complete the end-to-end monthly reporting process in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist with the maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers, Capital Projects and capital-related reporting
  • Prepare monthly cash forecasts
  • Prepare BAS and annual tax and FBT returns
  • Monthly reconciliation of account balances and prompt follow-up of discrepancies
  • Assist with annual audit and financial statements preparation
  • Capture additional value through efficiency and continuous improvement opportunities while assisting setup of new procedures and processes
Requirements
  • CA/CPA qualified; may have commenced career in professional services
  • Minimum 4 years in a relevant finance role
  • Exposure to tax will be viewed favorably
  • Experience within a private equity owned portfolio company will be viewed favorably
  • High achievement drive with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Continuous improvement mindset, willingness to question the status quo and set up new processes
