We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Animal Ethics Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for animal welfare and ethics to make a meaningful contribution to our research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative tasks related to allocated Animal Ethics Committees, including organizing meetings, processing invoices, preparing agendas and minutes, and corresponding with stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of key programs related to animal ethics.
- Manage processes for reviewing controlled documents to ensure timely uploads to the website.
Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in biological science or zoological science, preferably at a postgraduate level.
- Experience in office administration, including preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and correspondence.
- Desirable experience in an animal ethics administration role in a research or higher education environment.
- Understanding of laboratory animal science and animal ethics procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy requirements.
