About the Role

The Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Manager, Aboriginal Evidence and Reporting. This role will play a critical part in strengthening the department's evidence and reporting capabilities, as well as research and evaluation of Aboriginal programs and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of departmental reporting processes for the Korin Korin Balit-Djak Aboriginal Health Wellbeing and Safety Strategic Plan.
  • Work in partnership with Aboriginal community leaders to define and deliver evidence and reporting priorities for Aboriginal business across the department.
  • Provide strategic advice to strengthen the department's evidence and reporting capabilities.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that policies and programs developed provide strong client-led outcomes.
  • Ensure that there is Aboriginal voice in decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Aboriginal affairs and community development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
