
Annuity Business Manager

The Annuity Business Leader will be responsible for the end-to-end management of annuity new business. This includes owning every case from submission through policy delivery and funding, eliminating NIGO by preparing and reviewing all paperwork, submitting business via e-apps, managing requirements, and driving cases to approval.
This role is ideal for a specialist with 3–5+ years in annuity/life new business who hates NIGO, knows carrier quirks, and thrives on deadlines.
As a process-obsessed and calm under pressure individual with extreme ownership over outcomes, you will refine SOPs for speed, accuracy, and compliance, close the loop on delivery receipts and e-signatures.
This is a full-time opportunity to lead the annuity and insurance new-business engine, primarily Fixed Indexed Annuities (FIAs) with life insurance cases as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Own every case from submission through policy delivery and funding.
- Eliminate NIGO by preparing and reviewing all paperwork.
- Submit business via e-apps, manage requirements, and drive cases to approval.
- Serve as the hub for advisors, clients, carriers, FMOs/IMOs—proactively communicate status, remove roadblocks, and accelerate time-to-issue.
- Coordinate underwriting (e.g., APS, parameds) on life cases; anticipate issues before they appear.
- Track every milestone in CRM (Redtail/Salesforce). Protect data integrity; document everything.
- Refine SOPs for speed, accuracy, and compliance; close the loop on delivery receipts and e-signatures.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in annuity/life new business at an FMO/IMO/BGA, carrier home office, insurance-focused RIA/independent advisory firm, or insurance BD.
- Exceptionally clear in writing and speech; confident with clients and senior advisors.
- Fluent with e-apps (FireLight, iGO), licensing/contracting (SureLC), and CRMs (Redtail/Salesforce).
- Process-obsessed and calm under pressure—with extreme ownership over outcomes.
