The Opportunity
Lead the annuity and insurance new‑business engine. You'll be the single point of accountability from application to delivery and funding—primarily Fixed Indexed Annuities (FIAs) with life insurance cases as needed. Your impact is measured in speed, accuracy, advisor confidence, and a frictionless client journey.
What You'll Do
- Own every case from submission through policy delivery and funding—especially rollovers and 1035 exchanges.
- Eliminate NIGO by preparing and reviewing all paperwork (applications, disclosures, ACATs/rollovers, transfer forms).
- Submit business via e‑app (FireLight, iGO), manage requirements, and drive cases to approval.
- Serve as the hub for advisors, clients, carriers, FMOs/IMOs—proactively communicate status, remove roadblocks, and accelerate time‑to‑issue.
- Coordinate underwriting (e.g., APS, parameds) on life cases; anticipate issues before they appear.
- Track every milestone in CRM (Redtail/Salesforce). Protect data integrity; document everything.
- Refine SOPs for speed, accuracy, and compliance; close the loop on delivery receipts and e‑signatures.
You Are
- A specialist with 3–5+ years in annuity/life new business at an FMO/IMO/BGA, carrier home office, insurance‑focused RIA/independent advisory firm, or insurance BD.
- The person who hates NIGO, knows carrier quirks, and thrives on deadlines.
- Exceptionally clear in writing and speech; confident with clients and senior advisors.
- Fluent with e‑apps (FireLight, iGO), licensing/contracting (SureLC), and CRMs (Redtail/Salesforce).
- Process‑obsessed and calm under pressure—with extreme ownership over outcomes.
Compensation & Growth
- Market‑leading base range (Charlotte): $55,000 – $80,000+ depending on experience and the value you bring, with performance incentives tied to speed‑to‑funding, NIGO reduction, SLA adherence, and advisor satisfaction.
