We are seeking an efficient Administrative Support Officer - Patient Care to join our team on a casual basis at our Frenchs Forest location. As an integral part of our client-facing team, you will be responsible for providing administrative and billing support to our patients and staff while maintaining professionalism, care, and friendliness in an ever-changing environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include working efficiently in a fast-paced administrative role with customer focus as top priority, acting as the first point of contact to patients and providing excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone, adapting to and managing an environment where there is ongoing change and competing priorities, booking and confirming patients for appointments and consultations, billing and receipting at time of appointment and treatment, accurately processing relevant paperwork including data entry, ensuring the smooth running of the clinic, continuously liaising with the team to ensure efficient processes, and managing patient records and filing of patient notes.

To succeed in this role, you will require demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service, strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, experience in healthcare is preferred, proven experience to work successfully both independently and in a team environment, knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare funding mechanisms would be highly valued, exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries, high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, and flexible approach to work and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
