Key Account Director Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Director to join our bespoke agency team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across iconic FMCG brands, with a focus on pet nutrition and the chance to have a meaningful impact in the lives of fellow pet lovers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop trusted senior client partnerships and ensure our agency team acts as a true marketing partner.
  • Develop internal and external client action plans that deliver against client needs and identify opportunities to deliver marketing-led growth.
  • Manage revenue forecasting and delivery, and monitor profitability of portfolio.
  • Lead the team to define key campaign success metrics that link to marketing-led ROI.
  • Identify brief project leads within the team and ensure response delivery timelines are in place.
  • Ensure processes are in place that guarantee seamless campaign execution and reporting, instilling a culture of attention to detail and communication.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience in a media agency or publishing/media sales environment.
  • Strategic thinking with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering results.
  • Strong client servicing skills and ability to develop trusted partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you are able to influence, collaborate, and build rapport.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent market and media industry knowledge – historical and current.
  • Strong financial management skills and business acumen.
  • Proven team management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Understanding of and success in providing clients with diversified service and product solutions.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • A collaborative approach when liaising with stakeholders and media.
