Project Overview

As an Infrastructure Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering large-scale telco projects across NSW. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of Site and Graduate Engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of program outcomes while maintaining quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage day-to-day activities, measure performance, and drive accountability among your team members, fostering their growth and development through mentorship and upskilling.
  • Program Planning: Proactively forecast and plan detailed high-level construction works with the Area Supervisor, adhering to the Program of Work and established processes.
  • Risk Management: Monitor progress, identify potential risks and impacts on multiple tasks, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate any issues.
  • Performance Analysis: Review all Project KPIs, analyzing results, and facilitating improvement initiatives where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A degree in Engineering or Construction Management is essential.
  • Industry Experience: 2-5 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry is non-negotiable.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities, with expertise in managing teams, setting goals, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of contract, finance, and commercial mechanisms.
  • Tech Savviness: Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel) and MS Projects.
