Seeking Spiritual Support Specialist

We are committed to promoting the dignity and life of older people through connected and inclusive communities.

As a spiritual support specialist, you will provide personal support and care services to residents and clients in line with their preferences and values.

  • Deliver high-quality pastoral care services that meet the spiritual needs of our clients.
  • Support mission formation activities for employees within the residential aged care home.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Cert III or Cert IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of spirituality, particularly as it relates to the dignity of life and aged care.
  • Commitment to supporting the spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Able to work safely and follow policies and procedures.
