We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Accountant to join our team at EBR. As an Executive Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Income Tax Returns and Financial Statements for individuals, sole traders, companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds. This includes:

  • Preparing or reviewing Business Activity Statements;
  • Researching and consulting on various tax issues;
  • Mentoring junior and intermediate accountants and providing assistance to partners in the firm;
  • Stepping into a supervising role with your own client base upon progression.

Key qualities we are looking for in the ideal candidate include:

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written);
  • A proactive attitude, self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment;
  • Readiness for the challenge of growing with the firm and making a difference regarding regular new clients;
  • Proficient English oral and written communication skills.
