Job Title: Senior Financial Controller

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller to join our team in North Ryde. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with corporate and statutory reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Manage general ledger reconciliations and oversee month-end and year-end close processes to maintain financial integrity.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform business decisions.
  • E nsure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, including BAS and FBT, to minimize risk.
  • Support internal and external audits as required to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency, driving business growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA/CA qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar Senior Financial Controller role, preferably in a multinational or large organization.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with compliance and reporting.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to drive informed decision-making.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
