Lead Complex Insurance Claims
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Liability Claims Expert to join our National Liability Claims team.
About the Role:
- Manage a complex portfolio of claims arising from Public and Product Liability policies in a timely and cost-effective manner, with a focus on personal injury.
- Make policy coverage decisions, assess allegations of negligence to determine liability, and negotiate quantum within a delegated authority.
- Evaluate and resolve claims efficiently, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained for internal and external customers while building professional relationships.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including panel solicitors, loss adjusters, and service providers, to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Represent Allianz at Tribunal Hearings, Informal Settlement Conferences, and Mediations under senior staff guidance.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in law or equivalent experience in a legal environment.
- Proven customer service skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Effective planning, prioritization, and resource management skills.
- A willingness to collaborate and support our supportive culture.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, combined with empathy and commercial acumen.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
