About the Role
We are seeking a talented Claims Consultant to join our high-performing General Liability team. As a Claims Consultant, you will play a critical role in managing a portfolio of General liability claims, from initial assessment to settlement.Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting public liability and professional indemnity policy wordings and applying them accurately
- Providing advice to insured clients on indemnity, liability, quantum, reserving, and settlement
- Liaising with third-party providers, including solicitors, loss adjusters, brokers, and barristers
- Settling claims within client service instructions, company guidelines, and delegated authority
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess a minimum 2 years of experience in claims management, specifically in public liability and/or professional indemnity claims. Industry-specific ANZIIF qualifications are desirable, with a strong exposure to claims involving Third Party Liability. You will also have excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills, as well as flexibility and receptivity to change.What We Offer
