Our model focuses on specialisation and segmentation by injury type and claim duration, enabling alignment of the right skillset to the right role.

Your Role

As an Eligibility Specialist, you will support our Claims teams with technical advice on initial and full liability determinations. You will be responsible for ensuring quality and ethical liability decisions are made within prescribed timeframes under the relevant NSW legislation.

You will also contribute to the training and upskilling of Case Managers in relation to liability and relevant principles.

This role provides a unique opportunity to provide specialist support and grow your career in an exciting direction.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Advise and provide technical support in the initial and full liability;
  2. Support in the procurement of medical and factual investigations to determine liability;
  3. Review and analyse case documentation, including medical and factual reports;
  4. Coach and mentor case management personnel, and collaborate with our additional Mental Health, Complex Care and Rehabilitation support hubs;
  5. Participate in key business projects and initiatives, such as learning and development.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Significant experience in technical or case management roles within a workers compensation setting, with demonstrated experience in the determination of liability;
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage and coach at all levels of organisation;
  • A strategic mindset and approach to work;
  • A strong sense of team and collaboration;
  • A resilient attitude.

Compensation and Benefits

On top of a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus superannuation, you will receive a wide range of benefits, including:
