Aon is seeking an experienced Claims Expert to join our team.
About the RoleThis is a permanent opportunity based in Australia, with a preference for Perth or Adelaide. As a Claims Expert, you will be responsible for managing claims across various risk classes, including Property, Public Liability, and Professional Indemnity.
You will work closely with colleagues and management to ensure open communication and collaborate with insurers and the global Aon network to maintain and build relationships.
The successful candidate will have a strong customer service focus, excellent prioritization and time management skills, and well-developed verbal and written communication skills to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders.
A competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage claims across a range of risk classes, such as Property, Public Liability, or Professional Indemnity.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure open communication.
- Maintain and build relationships with insurers and the global Aon network.
- Reserve and investigate initial claims.
- Lodgment of claims in a timely manner.
- Provide advice to clients regarding claim mitigation and claim management.
- Present effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the claim lifecycle from notification through to closure.
- At least 2 years' experience in a legal background or 3-4 years working as a Claims Consultant at an Insurer.
- Experience taking on additional role responsibilities with the ability to take on senior tasks.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders.
