First Nations Partnership Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Nations Engagement Associate to join our team at Kirra Services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in partnership management, project coordination, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance and advice on cultural protocols and practices to the Snow Foundation team.
- Collaborate with our First Nations cultural advisor to ensure effective engagement and partnership building.
- Support project management, administration, and planning for initiatives to end rheumatic heart disease.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement, cultural considerations, travel, and logistics for events and meetings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with First Nations communities and stakeholders.
- Research and communicate key First Nations social and economic justice and empowerment issues to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on progress and impact to stakeholders.
- Support forecasting and planning for national grants and submissions.
- Manage partnerships and grants using the Grants Management system.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in partnership management, project coordination, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of First Nations culture and community needs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and think creatively.
- Passion for social impact and commitment to addressing social challenges.
