About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Nations Business Partner to join our People & Culture team at Special Broadcasting. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in partnering with business leaders to deliver strategic initiatives and drive business outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Indigenous employment and talent acquisition, as well as experience in managing complex change initiatives. You will be responsible for building trusted partnerships with divisional directors and their leadership teams, providing advice and guidance on talent sourcing and acquisition, and overseeing the entire employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver strategic initiatives and drive business outcomes
  • Provide advice and guidance on talent sourcing and acquisition
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, induction, talent management, and succession planning
  • Build trusted partnerships with divisional directors and their leadership teams
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to leaders to ensure effective workforce management practices

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Indigenous employment and talent acquisition
  • Experience in managing complex change initiatives
  • Highly developed communication, persuasion, and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpretive knowledge of legislation and industrial instruments governing employment in Australia
