About the Role
As a Law Clerk, you will play a key role in our team, working closely with clients who have superannuation Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) or private disability insurance claims following an injury or illness.
We are looking for a positive, energetic and highly motivated individual to join our Superannuation TPD practice group in Melbourne VIC. You will work under supervision of a Lawyer within our Superannuation team, undertaking client interviews to establish an entitlement to make a disability insurance claim, reviewing insurance policies and trust deeds applicable to the client's matter, preparing claim forms and legal submissions, drafting correspondence to clients and third parties, providing a tailored approach to each client's matter, managing your own file load of client claims, and maintaining and building new relationships for the practice.
This position is ideal for those who have recently completed their law degree and possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
