Job Title: Data Center Technician

Our team is looking for a skilled and experienced Data Center Technician to join our ranks. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities.

  • Performs diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues with minimal disruption to customers and business operations.
  • Carries out post-execution quality checks to verify that all components are properly installed and configured according to safety protocols and deployment standards.
  • Decommissions hardware for simple changes and refreshes, such as memory upgrades and rebuilds, following established procedures with minimal guidance.
  • Communicates effectively with other teams to report and escalate incidents to ensure prompt resolution and minimize downtime.
  • Provides guidance and support to junior technicians to help them complete complex tasks and achieve their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements.
  • Verification of Australian Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.
  • Possession of CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+) or Basic Structure Cabling (BSC) certifications is an asset.
