IT Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT infrastructure specialist to join our team. As an IT infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the daily operations of large data centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot all hardware-related problems.
  • Perform basic level OS troubleshooting and configuration issues.
  • Perform replacement of parts and devices.
  • Perform storage media sanitization and destruction tasks.
  • Maintain a high level of system reliability by prioritizing resolution of trouble tickets.
  • Follow data center operations, logistics, security, and safety-related processes and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of IT hardware (desktops, laptops, servers) and their configurations.
  • Basic IT troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Ability to lift and rack equipment with lifting equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle to travel between sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma at University or TAFE.
  • Linux knowledge.
  • Networking knowledge.
  • Passionate about IT infrastructure and hardware.
