Job Title: Dental Assistant and Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant and Receptionist to join our team on a casual part-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about dental care and looking to work in a dynamic and friendly environment.

About the Role:

As a dental assistant and receptionist, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments, managing patient appointments and bookings, welcoming patients and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure, handling patient enquiries and coordinating patient care, maintaining patient records and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, and managing payments and health fund claims.

Requirements:
  • Availability on Tuesdays and Saturdays is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, friendly attitude with a strong focus on patient care.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
