About the role
West Lakes Family Dental and Implants is seeking experienced and dedicated Dental Nursing staff to join our team in West Lakes, South Australia. Soon to be rebranded to Providence Dental Care. This is a casual role with the opportunity to work regular hours, making it an ideal position for someone looking to be an integral member of the dental team environment.
What you'll be doing
- Providing exceptional patient care and customer service at the front desk as required
- Chairside assisting the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, holding suction, and maintaining a sterile working environment
- Sterilising instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols
- Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling financial transactions
- Maintaining a clean and well-organised work environment
- Supporting the dental team in any other duties as required
What we're looking for
- A Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent experience is highly preferable
- Previous experience working as a dental nurse and receptionist
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems (D4W Specifically)
- A friendly, professional, and enthusiastic attitude
- The ability to work autonomously as the clinic continues to grow
