Key Responsibilities

As a Management Accountant, you will:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for our portfolio of properties
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end financial reporting
  • Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow for assigned properties
  • Reconcile accounts, including bank accounts and tenant ledgers, to ensure financial accuracy
  • Collaborate with property managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making
  • Review and manage property-related expenses and invoices for accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with audits and ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Provide regular financial updates to internal and external stakeholders

 

The Ideal Candidate

A successful candidate should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (or working towards them)
  • Experience in property accounting or a similar role within the property industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively

 

This role requires strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of financial principles. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
