We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Mine Operations Leader to drive the mine geology function across our portfolio of contract mining, joint venture, and owner-operated sites.
About This Role:- Lead the mine geology function across multiple operations.
- Ensure robust grade control systems that meet site-specific needs.
- Standardise and improve geology practices and systems company-wide.
- Build strong geology teams: recruit, mentor, and implement succession plans.
- Oversee mine reconciliation and deliver timely, accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with site teams to align geological models with mine planning and production goals.
- Provide geological input into tendering and review processes.
- Foster a strong safety culture and uphold compliance at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field (postgrad qualifications advantageous).
- 10+ years' mine geology experience, with 3+ years in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong background in open pit gold mining.
- Proven skills in grade control, mine reconciliation, and team management.
- Strong understanding of geological modelling tools and mining software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel to site as required.
