Job Title: Civic Events Coordinator

Waverley Council seeks a dynamic leader to produce civic events, administer citizenship ceremonies, and modernize permit assessment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce Council's civic events program, including Anzac Day and Remembrance Day
  • Administrate, plan, and deliver Council's citizenship ceremony program
  • Modernise and innovate permit assessment processes with a customer-centric mindset

About You:

We are seeking an experienced event and leadership professional with:

  • Professional event and leadership experience
  • Examples of stakeholder management
  • Understanding of event production delivery and permits processing in a Local Government context

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Creativity and passion for innovation
  • Commercial mindset and budgeting skills
  • Superb communication skills and team-first mindset
