Job Title: Bar Operations Leader

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on leader to oversee our vibrant pub-style venues in Melbourne. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused environment, knows how to deliver a great customer experience, and has a passion for creating a welcoming and lively venue.

About the Role:

  • Lead day-to-day bar operations across our Melbourne venues
  • Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive team culture
  • Deliver excellent customer service and set the standard for the team
  • Assist with overseeing stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
  • Drive sales growth, manage wage forecasting and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with RSA, OH&S, and liquor licence requirements
  • Collaborate with management on events, promotions, and customer experience

About You:

  • Previous experience in a senior supervisory role in the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team
  • A hands-on operator who leads by example
  • Solid knowledge of bar operations, stock control, and cost management
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Current RSA certificate (mandatory)
