Strategic Policy Leader

The role of Key Policy Manager is pivotal in driving Victoria's governance and co-governance of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
This position leads on NDIS legislative and policy development, ensuring alignment with Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing positions on NDIS legislative issues to support intergovernmental engagement.
- Collaborating with legal teams to analyze draft policies and legislative amendments.
- Providing research-based recommendations to inform policy decisions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team and providing leadership and advice to stakeholders.
Key accountabilities include:
- Overseeing projects to ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.
- Preparing reports and briefs on complex matters.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and experience in policy development.
