Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced policy professional to join our team as a Senior Policy Analyst.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development: Develop policy positions on key areas including tertiary education legislative frameworks, international education, and student visa policy.
  • Research and Advocacy: Conduct thorough research and provide evidence-based advocacy to support our company's goals and objectives.
  • Representation: Represent us at sector and political forums to promote our interests and build relationships.
  • Analysis: Analyze government policy impacts on our company operations and objectives.
  • Strategy Development: Support the development of our company's government relations strategy.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree or substantial experience in tertiary education or complex regulatory environments.
  • Knowledge of the Australian tertiary education sector, policies, and emerging trends.
  • Experience producing high-quality policy documents, briefings, and research.
  • Proven ability to advise senior leaders and develop strategic relationships.
