UGL is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Cost Administrator to join its Corporate Team in the Perth CBD. This role will commence on a full-time permanent basis, with a 5/2 roster.
The Financial Cost Administrator will support the Finance Lead by managing cost administration, focusing on invoicing, reporting, month-end tasks, and contract administration. Primary objectives include invoicing and lump sum performance analysis, as well as daily assistance to the Finance Lead and Project Accountants.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Preparing and maintaining cost reports for several lump sum projects
- Assisting with end-of-month processes and financial reporting within required deadlines and accuracy levels
- Collaborating with project managers and other departments to ensure cost control measures are in place
- Reviewing and processing invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Managing Work in Progress (WIP) balances effectively
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Proven experience as a Finance Cost Administrator or similar role in a project environment
- Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
