About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our Jira Enterprise Expansion team at Atlassian. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping us expand our reach beyond our stronghold in technical teams to reach business counterparts and become the system of work for all teams across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated product and go-to-market strategies to capture the massive growth opportunity for wall-to-wall adoption within existing customers, especially in the enterprise.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product leaders to unlock new growth opportunities, attract new personas and senior-level decision-makers, and drive measurable growth.
  • Help shape Jira's strategy for reaching new business audiences in a growing market, identifying our strengths, and leading the effort to close gaps.
  • Enable our Sales and Partner teams with compelling and high-impact value props, use cases, collateral, sales plays, customer stories, market knowledge, and tools for both IT buyers and non-technical department heads.
  • Develop messaging and positioning of Jira against competitors in the enterprise, and use competitive analyses to uncover differentiators and translate into outbound competitive tactics.
  • Use data to develop strategy, prioritize opportunities, guide decisions, and measure performance of go-to-market programs.
  • Develop processes to understand customer use cases, package those insights, and promote them in a way that supports business teams within enterprise customers in being successful with Jira.
  • Be the passionate voice of enterprise customers by developing a deep (and continuously refined) understanding of the market, buyer personas, ideal customer profile, the buyer journey, etc. and feed insights back to stakeholders to inform go-to-market strategies.
  • Be a trusted partner to the product team and relay customer, sales, and market insights to inform product roadmap decisions and strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in enterprise Product Marketing and supporting sales teams in B2B SaaS.
  • Expert on enterprise sales cycles and buyer personas with experience enabling enterprise GTM teams.
  • Expert communicator who translates technical features into tangible customer value for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across from Sales, Marketing, and Product to deliver on a shared vision and goals.
  • Be able to spot opportunities and understand how to translate customer needs and market demand into messaging, content, and sales enablement to help us meet our goals.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $150,700 - $200,900

Zone B: $135,600 - $180,800

Zone C: $125,000 - $166,700

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
