About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director of Business Growth Marketing to join our team at Foundation Marketing. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our agency and leading our team to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and vision for the business growth marketing practice, guiding the development and execution of marketing strategies that align with client objectives and drive business growth.
  • Client Engagement: Lead client engagements, serving as the primary strategic advisor and driving the development of full-funnel marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives that deliver measurable results and exceed client expectations.
  • Business Development: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships, serving as a trusted partner and advisor to senior clients and identifying opportunities for organic growth and account expansion.
  • Marketing Strategy: Oversee the development and execution of marketing efforts across the full customer journey, including digital, content, social media, distribution, email, paid, and events, ensuring alignment with client objectives and KPIs.
  • Team Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and direction to cross-functional teams, including strategy and production, to ensure seamless execution of our strategic recommendations.
  • Thought Leadership: Drive innovation and thought leadership within the business growth marketing practice, staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices and sharing insights with clients and internal teams.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of marketing professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to foster their growth and development within the organization.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance and client metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement and ensuring the achievement of client KPIs and ROI targets.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in business growth marketing, with a proven track record of success in strategic client-facing roles within a marketing agency.
  • Leadership: 5+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Expertise: Deep expertise in business growth marketing strategy, including journey development, demand generation, account-based marketing, funnel optimization, content marketing, digital marketing, and lead nurturing.
  • Client Relationships: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships, driving organic growth, and securing new business opportunities.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of marketing professionals.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional async communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of an organization.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with marketing technology platforms, analytics tools, and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Excel) is a plus.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
