Key Role: Plumber Gas Fitter Supervisor

This role oversees the smooth operation of all plumbing and gas fitting systems across a luxury resort, ensuring exceptional service for guests. You will lead a dynamic team in delivering high-quality work while maintaining a perfect work-life balance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of trade experience, holds relevant qualifications, and possesses strong leadership skills with excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the plumbing and gas fitting team, prioritising tasks to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee repairs, maintenance, and installations of plumbing and gas systems, focusing on quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are well-maintained, and stay up-to-date with regulatory compliance.
  • Lead safety initiatives, conduct toolbox talks, and mentor junior staff to enhance skills and foster a culture of safety and teamwork.
  • Be available for on-call duties and assist with emergency response efforts when required.
Requirements:
  • Essential: 5+ years of trade experience, Plumber/Gas Fitter qualifications, QBCC Queensland Type A Gas Fitter license (or ability to obtain), QLD Driver's Licence, and Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, gas installations, and safety protocols.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Reliable, flexible, and punctual with the ability to support operational shifts and on-call duties.
