Head Chef

coca chu's vibrant kitchen team is seeking a creative and experienced Head Chef to lead daily operations.

This exciting opportunity allows you to shape the menu with fresh, flavourful, and shareable dishes that combine bold Asian flavours with an Aussie twist.

  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our Executive Chef to evolve and elevate coca chu's offering, putting your creative stamp on our menu.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee kitchen operations, staffing, and food safety compliance in a high-volume environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of dedicated chefs, fostering a supportive culture that encourages creativity and fun.

To succeed as our Head Chef, you'll need:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Essential).
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certification (Essential).
  • Minimum 4–5 years' experience in a Sous Chef or Head Chef role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with Asian Hawker-style cuisine (Desirable).
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible, positive, and reliable attitude.
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
