Clinical Behavioural Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Positive Behaviour Support Clinician to join our national team of clinicians providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65.
As a Positive Behaviour Support Clinician, you will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.
You will assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
Our Positive Behaviour Support plans and assessments focus on increasing a person's quality of life, including improving their skills and enhancing their independence.
You will develop a plan and implement it with training and regular follow-up and review.

Requirements- NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or the ability to become registered)
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
- A car and licence
- A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client-facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
