Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at the ORS Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans to increase a person's quality of life, improve skills, and enhance independence.
- Work collaboratively with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
- Assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours, and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation, and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of PBS plans to ensure ongoing effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or the ability to become registered)
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
- A car and licence
- A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain one before commencement
