Job Title: Lead Actuary Expertise

The successful candidate will provide strategic advice at an executive level, establish and develop internal actuarial capabilities, build actuarial excellence across the organisation, and lead the design and implementation of actuarial services models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement models to support decision-making
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer from external actuarial providers to the internal team
  • Mentor, coach, and uplift actuarial capability across the organisation
  • Advise executive leadership on capability, resources, and strategic direction

Requirements:

  • Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA)
  • Extensive experience in personal injury insurance
  • Proven success in establishing actuarial functions and uplifting team capability
  • Strong leadership and ability to influence at the executive and board level
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
