Job Title: Operational Excellence Manager

  • To deliver exceptional outcomes, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading quality reviews and ensuring consistent practice and compliance.

  • The strategic leader in this position will establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support change management and process redesign initiatives.

  • The successful candidate will also prepare high-quality reports, briefings and submissions for executives and other stakeholders.

About the Role:

The Principal Quality and Improvement Officer plays a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency and consistency of processes, services and performance within an organisation.

This strategic leader develops and implements quality frameworks, drives continuous improvement activities and ensures compliance with legislative, regulatory and complaints standards to deliver services aligned with the organisation's values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee internal quality reviews to ensure consistent practice and compliance.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of operational data, feedback surveys and external reviews to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support change management and process redesign initiatives.
  • Identify operational and strategic risk and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, briefings and submissions for executives and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving organisational goals and objectives.
