Operations Finance Manager Role

We are leaders in managing and facilitating operations that focus on recycling for Container Deposit Schemes (CDS) in Australia.

Our business is built around recycling, with convenient locations and new technology enabling a seamless recycling experience.

This role will play a central part in bridging finance and operations, enabling informed, data-driven decisions.

  • Budget leadership for Return-It, aligning with Group timelines while providing clear operational and financial insights.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify and quantify business improvement opportunities and implement commercial strategies.
  • Review and assess contracts to identify profit leakage, improve delivery outcomes, and support pricing and negotiation strategies.
  • Provide financial modelling for capital investments, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operational and procurement teams to identify and implement cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Support risk management, compliance, and financial reporting requirements in line with regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with Group Finance and Shared Services to streamline reporting and standardise processes.
  • Deliver reporting and insights that influence decisions and enhance operational and financial performance.
