Senior Financial Strategist Role

The Senior Financial Strategist will play a crucial part in driving the financial performance and growth of the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and expert support & advice.

This position encompasses the supervision of Finance functions and oversees day-to-day management of the campus' financial and administration activities. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

The Senior Financial Strategist coordinates with other service area managers in planning services and activities as they relate to the hospital, finance, and administration. Enhancing management reports to the Board ensures that the organisation meets its corporate and financial obligations.

  • Functioning as a key advisor to the Executive, providing actionable visions.
  • Overseeing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, cash flow, and other core finance functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.

A deep understanding of financial management and budgeting is essential for this role. The ideal candidate should possess a formal qualification such as CPA or CA, with a minimum of 5+ years' experience in a leadership or management role.

Key Requirements:
  • Formal CPA or CA qualification highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Deep understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and service delivery.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
