Insurance Partnership Leader

The role of Insurance Partnership Leader involves overseeing the development and optimization of insurance partnerships throughout Australia and New Zealand. This position requires strong commercial acumen, a good understanding of General & Life Insurance (including regional regulatory requirements), and a solid network of the local insurance/reinsurance markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategy for insurance carrier partnerships across the ANZ region
  • Manage the placement and ongoing operational management of CG business with these insurance partners within prescribed timelines
  • Drive innovation and disruption within the business and with partners, leading to the highest standards of conduct
  • Negotiate insurance contracts
  • Create an insurance partner monitoring dashboard with clear expectations, targets, and results

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 8–10 years experience in the insurance market at a broker, insurer, Third-Party Administrator or MGA with a focus on partnerships and insurance placements
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing C-suite stakeholders
  • Ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team of insurance product, partnership, and pricing professionals
  • Experience owning and developing insurance partnerships and ongoing portfolio management
  • Excellent communication skills
