Membership Growth Specialist

As a leading fitness organization in Australia, we are seeking a dynamic Membership Growth Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the fitness sector.

We operate premium clubs across Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia, providing improved health, well-being, and a sense of accomplishment to over 270,000 members.

The Opportunity

The Membership Growth Specialist will be responsible for leading a capable team of Member Support Consultants to maximize membership growth through acquisition and retention.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for achieving sales targets, overseeing front desk operations, and setting best-in-class service standards within the club.

The ideal candidate will combine their sales expertise, exceptional customer service capability, and motivational leadership skills to develop a culture that inspires prospective members and motivates existing members to continue their fitness journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily workflow of the Member Support Consultants to ensure the club reaches monthly sales targets
  • Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets to contribute to the team's success
  • Create a structure to ensure the Member Support Consultants achieve their daily performance criteria
  • Assist with the delivery of sales training to develop the team
  • Support the Club Manager in developing initiatives to drive membership growth
About You

Candidates must have proven sales and customer service experience, with a clear ability to hit KPIs.

They should have an understanding of the sales cycle and various sales techniques, including up-selling and cross-selling.

Previous experience of managing the customer journey to achieve successful customer outcomes is highly regarded.

Ability to set and motivate others towards a goal is essential.
