Claims Resolution Specialist

This role involves overseeing claims from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and timely resolution.

  • Manage claims: Oversee low-complexity Workers Compensation claims to ensure they are handled efficiently.
  • Assess liability: Gather facts, apply relevant laws, and issue appropriate notices and correspondence for new and ongoing claims.
  • Keep data accurate: Capture and update claims information in line with best practices and compliance standards.
  • Follow established procedures: Ensure all claims activities meet Zurich's governance requirements, policies, and relevant Workers Compensation legislation.
  • Communicate proactively: Provide regular updates and support to customers, ensuring they feel informed and cared for throughout their claim.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: You have managed end-to-end claims, including assessing liability, gathering information, and working towards timely resolution. Ideally, you bring 1–2 years' experience handling Workers Compensation claims.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant Workers Compensation legislation, policies, and compliance requirements is an advantage.
  • Customer focus: You have a background in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on delivering positive experiences and effective communication.
  • Analytical skills: You can analyse information, interpret legislation, and make well-informed decisions.
  • Professional skills: You have experience working in a professional office environment, demonstrating strong computer literacy, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
