We are seeking an experienced claims advisor to join our Workers Compensation team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing complex workers compensation claims from inception to settlement.

You will work closely with injured workers, employers, brokers, legal vendors, and regulators to deliver timely, cost-effective, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include setting and reviewing reserves, developing case strategies, escalating issues when needed, and ensuring all claims activities meet statutory schemes and quality assurance requirements.

In addition, you will lead engagement with legal partners, represent the company at resolution meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement and strategic priorities across the team.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Workers Compensation claims with strong technical claims handling and injury management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of Western Australia Workers Compensation legislation and experience working within statutory schemes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable customers, delivering empathy-driven, high-quality customer service.
  • Strong decision-making and case planning skills, including setting and reviewing reserves and developing case strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners (brokers, insurers, legal vendors, regulators).
  • High attention to detail and commitment to compliance, quality assurance, and governance.
  • Resilience and ability to manage competing priorities and complex caseloads.
