Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and directing the operational functions of the HR department.
Key responsibilities include recruitment, interviewing staff, administering compensation, benefits, and leave policies, as well as enforcing organisational standards and practices.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff members within the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow and performance metrics of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations to ensure employee growth and development.
- Handles employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with senior leadership to develop and execute the organisation's human resource and talent strategy.
- Provides guidance and support to HR generalists, management, and other staff on complex, sensitive questions and issues.
- Manages the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified job applicants.
- Analyses trends in compensation and benefits to inform strategic decisions regarding talent acquisition and retention.
- Develops learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
