About the Opportunity

The estimated annual salary for this role is AUD $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience.

This technical leadership position plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless operation of our services for all SS&C Australia Managed Service Platform (MSP) customers. The successful candidate will work closely with the Application Support Manager to implement, deliver, evolve, and maintain toolsets, systems, policies, and procedures used to provide application support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to a team of application support engineers to ensure efficient delivery of services.
  • Incident Response: Troubleshoot complex issues, resolve client problems, and maintain platform availability to meet service level agreements.
  • Automation and Tooling: Support automation efforts across DevOps supported tools & Managed Services Platform, including deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain knowledge management databases for team members to better service clients and transfer knowledge.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work on assigned tickets, focusing on meeting delivery deadlines and service level agreements.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working in an IT service support and delivery role with excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn complexities of IT applications and systems and how changes may affect end users.
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand complex technical environments, components, and processes.
  • Prior experience and working knowledge of ITIL and ITSM tools.
  • Minimum 7+ years' application support experience in a leading technical support role for different business applications.
