This role is a 10-month temporary contract with a Local Government organisation based in South-East Melbourne. The estimated salary for this position is $78,000 per annum.

Job Description

The Application Support Team Leader will lead the IT Application Support Team and coordinate routine and ad-hoc testing and maintenance of application architecture.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a team to an agile way of working including helping deliver operational enhancements.
  • Provide technical expertise and utilise technical capabilities to deliver operational outcomes that meet stakeholder needs which are aligned with organisational strategic priorities and direction.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues and queries, collaborating with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to resolve them or escalate to Engineering when necessary.
  • Develop monthly reports on incidents and requests, track Application Support performance, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for application support.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Azure fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases.
  • SAAS support leadership experience.
  • TechOne experience will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to manage, motivate, develop and encourage teams to deliver results to time and budget.
  • Commercial acumen to ensure the team is working on the right thing at the right time.
Location and Other Details

This role is based in South-East Melbourne and may require overtime. A Police Check and Working with Children Check, or the willingness to undergo the checks, is required.
