About the Role

Mercer is seeking a highly skilled Risk Transformation Lead to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney. As a key member of our Business Risk Transformation program, you will play a critical role in driving the execution of large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive stream delivery plans, aligning with the overall program strategy and objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of milestones, ensuring adherence to project plans, program methodology, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers and delivery specialists to ensure successful completion of project deliverables.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment, promoting effective communication and coordination among team members.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to minimize impact on program outcomes.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management and/or 3LoA operating models.
  • Strong experience in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, including project managers and delivery specialists.
  • Experience in engaging and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, including program sponsors, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong skills in identifying and mitigating project risks, as well as proactively addressing issues that may impact project delivery or outcomes.
