About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of our security risk management framework. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the evaluation and implementation of IT security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
- Conducting third-party security risk assessments, from triage to reporting.
- Developing and maintaining information security dashboards and metrics.
- Ensuring security practices are integrated into our strategic and operational planning processes.
- Creating, maintaining, and improving work processes and procedures to ensure repeatability and automation of workflows.
- Reviewing and assessing security risk posture across the organization and in relation to our third parties.
- Communicating and reporting security gaps and remediation actions within a risk context.
- Maintaining IT security risk registers to track and drive mitigation and resolution efforts.
- Developing relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Improving stakeholder engagement through interpersonal skills, process improvements, and agile methodologies.
- Collaborating with security consulting, operations, risk, procurement, legal, and strategy teams.
About You:
We're looking for a skilled and experienced Security Risk Analyst who can bring their expertise to our team. Ideal candidates will have:
Experience in a similar cyber security role. Knowledge of information security and risk management processes. Understanding of technical security controls and technologies, including SIEM, endpoint software, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, web application firewalls, user behavior analytics, malware, and GRC products. Knowledge of information security standards and frameworks, such as Cybersecurity Essentials, ISO 27001, ACSC Essential Eight, and NIST. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.A Career with Medibank
