Job Description:

As a Trading Operations Engineer, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our trading platform. Key responsibilities include monitoring high-volume live trading and portfolio risk, contributing to the development of automated trading operations codebase, managing ongoing projects with various support teams, coordinating software and hardware upgrades, applying programmatic solutions to scale and expand trading operations, and resolving discrepancies with trading positions, broker statements, and internal applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitoring high-volume live trading and portfolio risk
  2. Contributing to the development of automated trading operations codebase
  3. Managing ongoing projects with various support teams
  4. Coordinating software and hardware upgrades
  5. Applying programmatic solutions to scale and expand trading operations
  6. Resolving discrepancies with trading positions, broker statements, and internal applications
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  2. 3+ years of professional experience in a related field
  3. Strong software development skills in Python
  4. Working knowledge of Linux operating system
  5. Exceptional analytical abilities, strong communications skills, and experience making data-driven strategic decisions
  6. Strong working knowledge of PNL and Risk reporting applications
  7. Familiarity with current market structure and regulatory developments
  8. Ability to comprehend and diagnose problems in complex real-time systems with minimal guidance
  9. Capacity to work equally well independently and as a member of a team
  10. Strong understanding of trading technology and fluency in technical concepts
  11. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
