About the Role

Xero is seeking a seasoned Financial Services Leader to join our team as a Senior Manager of Financial Operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the financial strategy and growth of our Payments and Ecosystem portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute financial strategies to drive profitability and sustainable growth across the Payments and Ecosystem portfolio.
  • Lead the development of sophisticated data-driven analyses to inform pricing strategies and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Provide strategic financial planning and forecasting to support business objectives.
  • Oversee the tracking of progress against goals and drive course corrections as needed.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of progressive financial experience within a commercial finance/FP&A team.
  • Experience within a Payments company and/or a SaaS company is highly desirable.
  • Fundamental understanding of data techniques (SQL, Python, etc.) is critical.
  • Extensive experience with financial systems such as Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, business intelligence tools, and corporate performance management software.
  • Additional experience with pricing and government regulations for payment methods and processing systems is a plus.
